Full-stack (.Net, JS) Team Lead

Things are happening at Beetroot! We're growing steadily, and are looking for a brilliant Full-stack (.Net, JS) Team Lead to join our team on behalf of an exciting client in Lulea, Sweden.

You will get a unique opportunity to work with a proven Nordic alarm and event handling software company within Personal Care, Personal Security, and IoT. You should understand the product on an architectural and solution level, both on an overall level as in details concerning front-end and app development foremost, to later be able to lead the start of a dedicated development team

In our collaboration model, you will work and communicate directly with the development team on the client's side.

Responsibilities:

- Set requirements for documentation needs

- Work as a member of a team or on your own to set deadlines and deliver high quality, maintainable software solutions

- You will be responsible for web applications, and their technology including keeping architecture and technology up to date with the latest innovations in the area

- Code optimization improvements, maintenance, and refactoring of existing systems

- Contribute to team process improvements, industry best practices, and principles

- Operating within a dynamic team focused on full-stack and front-end development but also working with engineers from several different areas of focus

- Promote a team culture of continual growth and improvement through mentoring, talks, and feedback

- Assist with the hiring process, including interviewing prospective developers and improving the hiring process itself

What we're looking for:

- A quick learner, with great commitment to her/his work who puts big value in doing a great job

- High technical competence, and the ability to understand complex design on both back-end (API) side, as well as front-end side

- Initiative and dedication to product development

- 5+ years of experience

- C#, .NET, Require.js, React.js

- GIT, Jira

- CI/CD, Cloud (AWS) development

- Can act as a mentor in Agile processes and Scrum. Team building personality with great commitment and drive

- The pedagogic person who can help and coach junior colleagues. Experience from distributed, cross-functional teams.

- Team leading experience

- Great level of English

Bonus:

- Experience with Python

- Experience in refactoring back-end/front-end code is valuable.

- Experience in short release cycles and DevOps set up of the organization.
