SRE Team Lead

For the new product Gaming company we are looking for SRE Team Lead, who will join our team.

Required skills:

— 4+ years experience with Debian Linux;
— Good Linux system internals and shell scripting (bash/python/etc.);
— Experience running production systems on bare metal;
— Experience with Docker or other container-based technologies;
— Knowledge of CI/CD tools like GitlabCI, Jenkins, etc.;
— Networking skills: TCP/IP, DNS, Load-balancers, PKI (TLS), network security, etc.;
— Experience with virtualization systems (KVM, proxmox);
— Automation tool experience (Ansible);
— Experience with monitoring and metric systems (nagios, check_mk, Grafana, etc);
— Experience with git;
— Strong interpersonal and communications skills;
— Leadership and mentoring skills (team of 3+ DevOps Engineers);
— Intermediate level of English;

As a plus:

— Experience with SQL/NoSQL technologies: PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Redis, Cassandra;
— Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc;
— Experience running production systems in AWS/DO/etc;
— Experience with Kubernetes, Docker Swarm;
— Experience with CloudFlare;

Responsibilities:

— Lead and manage the team of 6+ DevOps Engineers;
— Build and maintain highly available scaling systems;
— Analyse and address performance and stability risks;
— Participate in architecture decisions across the product systems with Backend development team;
— Manage and scale our data storage systems (Cassandra clusters, PostgreSQL, Redis, ElasticSearch cluster);
— Constantly improve our deployment strategies and infrastructure code (Ansible).
