Email Marketing Manager

We are looking for experienced Email Marketing Manager to assist our team in the planning, execution and optimization of automated and ad hoc email marketing campaigns end-to-end.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage, optimize and analyze automated and ad hoc email marketing campaigns end-to-end;
• Manage automated and ad hoc email campaigns, covering setup, testing, deployment, and reporting;
• Monitor email automation and triggered programs;
• Manage the email workflow, covering the process of email calendar development, collaborating throughout the marketing team, and working to QA and test email assets;
• Research and identify target audiences through scientific means to develop optimization strategies and targeted campaigns;
• Utilize Marketing Automation tools and briefing of agencies to deliver programs most efficiently;
• Use reporting and analysis to optimize messaging, creative and promotions and create new initiatives;
• Develop and launch Email & SMS Campaigns (discount offers, free trials, upsells, cross-sell);
• Develop a seasonal campaign calendar;
• Develop and manage new lead generation web properties for our clients;
• Determine an A/B testing roadmap that thoughtfully coordinates transactional communications (e.g., Order Confirmation and Ship Confirmations) with already existing email marketing campaigns;
• Own and drive the long term roadmap to integrate additional one-way communication channels (e.g., text/SMS) into the experience.

Qualifications and skills:

• Proven 3+ year experience in Email/Retention/SMS Marketing;
• Experience in email analytics, testing, and optimization;
• Knowledge and understanding of email fundamentals: CAN-SPAM requirements, segmentation, performance metrics, etc;
• Basic knowledge and understanding of HTML;
• Ability to synthesize results into email marketing enhancement recommendations;
• Advanced database segmentation and customized flows; 
• Competence in analytical tools such as SQL a plus;
• Capitalizing large databases. Gamification and Online CRM experience is a huge plus;
• Developing, creating and analyzing user-oriented marketing campaign;
• End-to-end customer experience to enhance subscription acquisition and retention;
• Knowledge and understanding of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Marketo, Salesforce etc.).
