PROJECT ASSISTANT

Context

Raicommerce Ukraine is implementing a DMA (District Metered Area) project in the city of Mykolayiv. The project aims to establish 16 – 25 DMA zones that will enable future activities towards non-revenue water (NRW) reduction and more flexible operations. The project requires collaboration between a team of experienced Bulgarian engineers and local partners. Among other project roles a local (Ukrainian) project assistant is being sought.

The role is project based and may be structured both as a part-time (2-3 weeks per month) or a full-time one. The activities are to be performed mainly in the city of Mykolayiv.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Interpretation at project meetings between Raicommerce Ukraine and local stakeholders – Vodokanal Mykolayiv, local business partners (construction companies, design surveyors, etc.) and others

• Translation of project documents – progress reports, official reports, etc.

• (if/when needed) collaboration with local institutions on behalf of Raicommerce Ukraine

• Document management: alignment of English and Ukrainian versions, etc.

• Other tasks that the project may require

Requirements:

• Fluency in Ukrainian, Russian and English language (full fluency in all three languages is not a 100% must). Some proficiency in technical terminology (in the area of water supply) will be considered an advantage

• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

• At least 5 years of experience in a dynamic working environment

• Driving license will be considered an advantage

• Experience in international working environment will be considered an advantage

• High level of on-the-job independence is required
