WordPress Developer

We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to join our growing team in Kharkiv!

You will use your expertise to build and maintain corporate and product-specific websites. You will work closely with DevOps, marketing, design and business teams.

Your key accountabilities and responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Designing and implementing new features and functionality
• Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture
• Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
• Oversee the implementation of project improvements
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Develop solutions taking nonfunctional and operational requirements into consideration
• Ensure continuous delivery process is in place with a certain level of quality
• Actively seek to share technical expertise with others

Skills and qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of WordPress and PHP
• 3 years of experience in software development
• Attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
• Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
• Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
• Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
• Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
• Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
• Proficient understanding of Git
• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
• Utilizing best practices, processes and SDLC
• Genuine interest in cybersecurity and fraud detection
• Team player
• Results oriented
• Intermediate English level (reading, verbal, and written)
