Technical Project/Product Manager

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project/Product Manager to join our growing team in Kharkiv, Ukraine.

As a Project/Product Manager, you will use your expertise to build new teams that will develop new company products and another one that will maintain existing corporate websites.

Your key accountabilities and responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

• Develop project plans, monitor and track progress
• Supervise team members and ensure that deadlines are followed
• Maintain the project budget
• Prepare OKR’s and progress reports for the business team
• Participate in weekly prioritization meetings
• Identify the resources needed for the project and source these materials
• Oversee the implementation of project improvements
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Ensure that projects are delivered on-time and within the scope
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Manage changes to the project scope and project schedule
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
• Ensure comprehensive project documentation is created and maintained
• Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel
• Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges
• Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives
• Recruit and train exceptional employees to fulfill posted positions within the technical department
• Research new features, plan and analyze requirements
• Develop solutions taking non-functional and operational requirements into consideration
• Ensure continuous delivery process is in place with a certain level of quality
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the organization
• Actively seek to share technical expertise with others
• Follow the best practices and process established in the team

Your skills & qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of web applications and browsers
• 3 years of experience in IT project management
• Excellent leadership abilities
• Attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Experience in a complex Product / PM office role; utilizing best practices, processes and SDLC
• Experience mentoring, coaching and developing rising talent in the technology department
• Excellent time management, organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
• Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
• Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
• Excellent technical knowledge and experience in programming is plus
• Motivation to learn new skills and gain knowledge, and believe in expanding your areas of expertise
• Ability to interact daily with systems that are used in professional software development such as JIRA and Git.
• Experience in working in short, interactive development cycles, and have a great passion for working in agile development process environments.
• Good track record of being a fast learner, solutions-oriented, and able to work within agreed-upon timelines.
• A genuine interest in cybersecurity and fraud detection
• Team player
• Results-oriented
• Upper-Intermediate English level (reading, verbal, and written).
