Jun/Mid Linux Kernel developer (IRC105626)

GlobalLogic Ukraine is inviting a Jun/Mid Linux Kernel developer to join its Kyiv office.

Our Client is the top Tier-1 company in the automotive world. Project goals are software implementation for Client infotainment hardware platform intended to be used in a mass-production car/vehicle market.

SW platform: Linux, QNX, Android 

HW platform: QC

Requirements:

• 1-3+ years of experience in software development
• Good knowledge of C
• Good knowledge of basic data structures and algorithms
• Experience of Unix/Linux usage (CLI)
• Intermediate level of English knowledge
• Experience in Embedded Systems development
• Experience with RTOS (e.g. FreeRTOS, QNX, ThreadX) OR Experience in Linux System and Kernel space development
• Knowledge of version control systems (GIT) and build tools (Make)

Preferences:

• Experience in the development of Android-based systems
• Experience with Yocto build system

Responsibilities:

• Participate in a vendor-specific HW platform bring-up.
• Contribute to the BSP development
• Contribute to the development and debugging of the Kernel related issues.
• Contribute to the development and bug-fixing of the Linux drivers.
• Cooperate with other teams worldwide to follow up product development
• Device tree customization 
• Drivers implementation (from scratch, porting existing drivers from another platform/another LK versions)
