Junior Strong QA Manual Engineer

Job/Project description:
Utech is looking for a QA Engineer for the Utech TMS project. This is a comprehensive collection of highly effective tracking software tools to manage all aspects of the transportation business. Our customers are US transportation companies. The project includes server-side (CentOS) and cross-platform client-side (Windows/macOS).

Responsibilities:

• Plan and estimate Testing activities together with the team
• Analyze and transform requirements to test scenarios
• Perform functional testing (manual)
• Report defects, the monitor reported issues, and verify when they are resolved
• Regularly and clearly report status and progress
• Define possible risks in advance

Skills:

• 1+ year of experience in manual testing
• Solid understanding of software testing fundamentals (test types, test levels, test design techniques, etc.)
• Experience in writing test cases
• Solid understanding of how Web technologies work
• Good understanding of IT fundamentals and SDLC processes
