Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Cloud Security Engineer to help drive the security posture of Playtech and its subsidiaries.

This position ensures the proper security design and operation of cloud environments in Azure, AWS, GCP (all primarily IaaS) for the different types of services and applications. The candidate will work closely with different teams in the company to audit and assist in building and maintaining secure cloud environments.

Candidate Responsibilities

• Implement cloud security governance and monitoring solution
• Conduct security audits in cloud environments
• Develop documentation listing security recommendations and best practices
• Collaborate with business owners, product managers, DevOps, IT operations teams, development teams and provide subject matter expertise in the Cloud domain
• Identify weak spots, missing controls and vulnerabilities while suggesting improvements and remediations
• Stay current on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and controls for the cloud
• Participation in investigation and response in case of potential security incidents
• Implement automation in the security field if required

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years of experience in a similar technical security role with a background in application or system administration
• Experience with at least one of the cloud environments: Azure, AWS, GCP
• Understanding of how cloud infrastructure works, architecture best practices, managed services, typical vulnerabilities, mitigations, and security best practices
• Ability to clear and promptly communicate and negotiate on security technical topics in an argument way
• Security mindset with business enablement strategy thinking 
• Familiarity with modern application development approaches (infrastructure as a code, continuous integration/delivery, containers, serverless, code/artifact repositories, etc). Some hands-on experience with such tools is a plus
• Broad knowledge in IT field and enterprise architecture (TCP/IP network stack and relevant protocols/technologies (firewall, proxy, etc); some experience with server OS (Windows, Linux); web, database servers, etc
• Basic scripting experience (python/shell) for purposes to automate/script daily tasks 
• Good English communication skills (both speaking and writing)
• Work in an enterprise environment  
• Relevant security, systems, networking certifications is a plus
