Trainee Embedded Engineer (IRC109065)

GlobalLogic Ukraine is inviting a Trainee Embedded Engineer to join its Kyiv office.

Our Client is the top Tier-1 company in the automotive world. Project goals are software implementation for Client infotainment hardware platform intended to be used in a mass-production car/vehicle market.

SW platform: Android 9
HW platform: Snapdragon 855, 655

The scope of the project includes SW design preparing, implementation, integration, and maintenance phases with following modern industry standards for development processes in the automotive segment (Automotive SPICE) and Agile (SCRUM, SAFe)

Requirements:

• 0.5+ years of experience in software development

• Good knowledge of C

• Experience in Embedded Systems development

• Good knowledge of basic data structures and algorithms

• Intermediate level of English knowledge

PREFERRED

• Experience with RTOS (e.g. FreeRTOS, QNX, ThreadX)

• Experience in Linux System 

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience of Unix/Linux usage (CLI)

• Build tools (Make)

• Knowledge of version control systems (GIT) 

• Experience with Yocto build system

Preferences:

• Embedded, Android, Yocto, Git

Responsibilities:

• Participate in a vendor-specific HW platform bring-up.
• Contribute to the development and debugging of the Kernel related issues.
• Contribute to the development and bug-fixing of the Linux drivers.
• Contribute to the BSP development
• Cooperate with other teams worldwide to follow up product development
• Bootloader customization for customer-specific (animation, configuration passing to LK)
• Device tree
• Drivers implementation (from the scratch, porting existing drivers from another platform/another LK versions)
