Country New Product Development (NPD) Manager

an international production company (dairy) is looking for Country New Product Development (NPD) Manager, location: Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Mission : Lead, Manage and Achieve NPD projects in country :a) Develop New Products (Innovation)b) Contribute to cost control (Productivity in recipe/pack/process)c) Pro-active value creation proposals (Concept / Continuous improvement).

Requirements: Master, Major in food science / dairy industry3-5 years experience in senior developer positionAn industrial / operational experience would be a plusAbility to travel within Europe, CIS and country zones (up to 1/3 time)English speaker (upper-intermediate at minimum)5.1 Knowledge: Knowledge (Theoriticals)

Objectives:

• Lead New Product development process in relation with Marketing and Industrial teams (PN).- Propose new product concepts or new technology.
• Design, propose, plan and realise pilot and industrial trials.- Analyse, summarise, structure results of pilot and industrial trials.- Respect schedule / timing / deadlines.- Define project resources in terms of equipment (pilot), workload / people and analytical support.- Guarantee a smooth up-scaling from pilot to industrial.
• Participate to identify and realize technical approval of new ingredients and equipments in relation with Purchasing / Industrial
• Define / Shape country R&D organisation- Identify formation needs and organize team training- Define collective / individual objectives and evaluate results.- Implement group NPD procedure based on Stage Gates- Organise / Animate R&D meeting at country level gathering Industrial / Marketing / R&D / GM.
• Guarantee confidentiality policy in information exchange (in particular with suppliers)- Check possibility / risks related to intellectual property.
