About the client

Our client is a global fine wine company that specialises in the buying and selling of investment grade wines. Primarily focused on providing market-leading wine investment services to an international client base and investment partners, сompany also operates a growing wholesale and broking division working with the UK and International wine trade.

Core skills

• Lead e-commerce/Auction/Trading web application from concept to production
• Start-up/scale-up/new-business experience
• Ability to take ownership and operate in fast moving / agile organisation
• Solution orientated — ability to drive out a solution and outcome
• Ability to work with customers to iterate around the web application visual design / user experience
• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support).

Tech skills

• 7+ years of commercial experience in Web development
• 3+ years of solid commercial experience with React
• Experience with web client technologies: JavaScript, HTML (Bootstrap), CSS, JSON and jQuery JS / KnockoutJS libraries
• Experience with Webpack, Gulp, Bower, Yarn
• Experience with Material UI framework
• Solid knowledge of XML
• Experience with Node.js will be a plus
• Strong knowledge of Wep APIs and experience with REST API integration
• Experience with WebSockets
• Experience working in Agile environments: TDD, DD, Scrum, Kanban
• Good English level (writing and speaking).
