Manual/Automation QA Engineer

Itera is looking for a General QA Engineer to be a part of distributed SCRUM team. Client is a Nordic branch of large European company (one of the largest finance groups in the World) providing a broad range of financial services. 

Test person is responsible to bring test expertise to the team, evaluate test coverage, establish close communication with Customer team on requirements clarification etc. Test person also will have a chance to develop in test automation and support and enhance existing test automation solution (Selenium Web Driver, .NET stack). Further switch to full-time test automation is possible.

Daily communication with Team Leader, Product Owner as well as with other developers/business users and business trips will be an essential part of the working process (after the lockdown is over).

The team will support and extend existing key operational applications for the Customer and will take over these responsibilities from 3rd-party vendor. The team is expected to bring competence of building efficient delivery and collaboration processes.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Being main responsible for testing at the project and product quality
• Estimate and plan test activities in the project
• Clarify requirements with Customer team
• Ongoing manual functional testing (through UI and API level)
• Support and enhance existing test automation solution
• Perform bug tracking and reporting
• Collecting and structure information in a Knowledge Base (Wiki, SharePoint)
• Report to PM and client

Professional requirements:

• At least 3+ year experience within software testing
• Experience of doing overall QA & Testing in project
• Deep understanding of core testing processes
• Experience in test planning for iterations
• Knowledge of bug tracking tool(s) and process
• Experience in creating test cases, test design
• Experience of work in distributed environment, dynamic team
• Experience with web-services testing
• Experience of direct communication with client

Be a plus: 

• Experience with Selenium web-driver, .NET stack
• Experience in Azure DevOps (Test Plan)
• ISTQB certification
• Experience with coordinating acceptance testing on Customer side
