In 2014, the ICRC expanded its presence to Ukraine. There are more than 600 ICRC staff working in Kyiv, Sloviansk, Severodonetsk, Mariupol, Donetsk, Luhansk and Odesa.

      AIM OF THE POSITION

To ensure that logistics systems are in place and operational and provides technical and operational support for purchasing, warehousing, stock management, import-export activities and statistics, in accordance with the ICRC’s logistics standards.

      CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supply-chain management (manages and follows up on requests to ensure their timely treatment, provides customer desk service and carries out related reporting).
• Participate on and contribute to monthly Collaborative Demand Planning (CDP) of the delegation.
• Warehouse management.
• Ensuring compliance with financial and logistical procedures.
• To supervise the implementation of the inventory in the warehouses.
• To ensure transport activities and convoys.
• To manage and supervise the Logistics’ team

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

      Education and professional qualifications

• Bachelors or technical degree in logistics or equivalent experience
• 6 years’ work experience in a similar field of activity including management experience.
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English
• Good computer knowledge
• Good knowledge of the geographically assigned environment
• ICRC field experience an asset.
