Network Engineer/CS core Engineer

Job description:

ZTE Ukraine Core network team is looking for a HLR/HSS  Engineer to join our team in Kyiv office. HLR/HSS  Engineer will participate in operations and maintenance of ZTE HLR/HSS infrastructure, solution deployments/expansions, change configuration to solve problems,perform the integration with other core network NEs.

HLR/HSS Engineer will work closely with enterprise customers in eliminating incidents and helping maintain ZTE HLR/HSS products stability, security, and customer service at the best-in-class standards.

Responsibilities:

• New systems implementation, Core network solution

• commissioning, Integration, Acceptance Testing process handling

• 3rd party network elements (CS core) integration, testing

• New features testing, implementation

• O&M, change management, software upgrades and implementation

• Customer service requests handling

       Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

• 3-5 years hands on experience with CS or PS core and operations field.

• Good knowledge of Mobile Voice over 2G/3G/LTE, troubleshooting and call trace analysis.

• Understanding of mobile carrier technology: signal flows in 3G, LTE (4G), VoLTE.

• Protocols knowledge: ISUP, CAP, TCAP, MAP, SIP, H.248, SCCP, ISDN, SIGTRAN, M3UA, H.324, Diameter, CAMEL.

• TCP/IP networking (routing, analyzing network captures, etc.)

• Troubleshooting and fault detection. Proactive and preventative maintenance.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines in parallel with ability to recognize and adjust priorities as required.

• Ericsson, Huawei Core MSS, MGW, HLR/HSS experience will be a big advantage.

• Good communication skills in English, Ukrainian and Russian, including listening, speaking, reading and writing.
