Senior Python Developer With AWS (Automotive Domain)

Customer:

Our client is a well-established company in the automotive market in Europe with more than 20 years' experience in setting standards in the automotive aftermarket worldwide.

Project:

We work on a solution that provides a full cycle of big data processing for the automotive market. The primary company goal is to support the client during the digital transformation with data-driven solutions and comprehensive consulting services for effective and efficient business processes and practical digital solutions as well as innovative services implementation to make day-to-day business easier. The project is in the active development phase.

You will be joining a growing professional and highly motivated team, work with new technologies and best practices. 

Responsibilities:

• Understand the architectural drivers: capture, refine, and challenge the software goals, requirements, constraints, and risks
• Create an architectural vision that describes the essence of the system and exposes important details and significant design decisions
• Create the solution roadmap considering the project constraints and provide technical leadership to the team on its course
• Communicate the architectural vision and roadmap to the stakeholders. This includes but is not limited to creating architectural views and SAD documentation
• Perform ongoing monitoring of the solutions developed to meet customer business goals and make sure they stay on course with the architectural vision
• Ensure that the technologies chosen for the solutions as well as other design decisions are in harmony with the ecosystem
• Inspire, mentor, and encourage colleagues to apply intelligently customized industry's best practices
• Participate in coding and perform code reviews of critical software modules

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience designing, developing, and delivering software applications
• 5+ years of experience with Python and its ecosystem
• 5+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines
• 3+ years of experience with AWS
• Experience in developing data processing solutions, e.g., data ingestion, aggregation, streaming, batching, etc.
• Experience with Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, or data analytics platforms/libraries
• Expert knowledge of industry-recognized architectural frameworks, styles, and patterns
• Expert knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design
• Expert knowledge of software design concepts, principles, and patterns
• At least Upper-Intermediate level of English (speaking and writing)

Will be a plus:

• Experience developing Big Data Solutions (NoSQL, Hadoop, data processing frameworks)
• Experience designing serverless architectures using AWS (Lambda, Step Functions, Athena, Fargate, etc.)
