Customer

Our Customer is a UK company from Energetics/Fintech domain that creates modular solutions for solving every business challenge, no matter what the industry is.

Project

As our future Front-End Developer, you will be involved in working with large and real datasets from a wide range of sensor types and use cases with data processed in real-time.

Together with your teammates, you will be responsible for scaling out a distributed architecture for lots of different data sources.

Responsibilities

• Think on and propose solutions for non-standard problems
• Design new features: separate components, modules, classes, etc.
• Work with large and real datasets from a wide range of sensor types and use cases with data processed in real-time
• Scale-out a distributed architecture for lots of different data sources
• Perform coding and debugging
• Investigate current and new solutions
• Participate in peer code and design reviews
• Participate in estimation and planning sessions
• Report status and progress according to the project and company demands
• Understand the front-end part of the web-application to solve business problems and take responsibility for the result
• Solve puzzles and work by yourself without micromanagement and direct control

Requirements

• At least 4 years of commercial experience in web development
• Experience working with React (Angular or Vue)
• Proficiency in JavaScript and CSS, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Good knowledge of AWS
• Familiar with REST API
• Profound experience writing tests/TDD
• Strong experience with modern front-end build pipelines and tools such as Git, IntelliJ, VSCode, or Atom
• Experience working with front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, Yarn, etc.
• Understanding of the core principles of programming paradigms (e.g., OOP, FP, SOLID, Prototypal Inheritance)
• Strong communication skills
• At least Intermediate Strong level of English

Will be a plus:

• Experience with WebGL/Three.js
• Understanding of HTTP requests, response handling, and callbacks
• Knowledge of MySQL
• Node.js or Ruby knowledge and experience
• Familiarity with Scrum methodology
• Experience with Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
