Product Manager (Grain and Forage harvesting machinery)

Our client, a well-known international company is announcing an opening for Product Manager (Grain and Forage harvesting machinery).

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

• Provide local Sales and Marketing support.
• Deliver product knowledge to the market.
• Support long term vision and strategy for company’s products.
• Drive and support new products development as well as current ones.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Research and analyze market conditions and trends in crop production, stockbreeding and other agricultural sectors.
• Research and learn best practices on product usage, latest crop and forage production technologies and techniques.
• Forecast product market demand as well as essential product features demand.
• Analyze and understand competitive market environment, product pricing.
• Determine product specification with regard to consumer demands and general complexity.
• Support sales and marketing with the necessary product knowledge and technical expertise.
• Develop key marketing messages and selling arguments.
• Prepare and conduct regular local trainings to brief and train the company’s and dealers’ sales force.
• Conduct, develop and drive product presentations with core team.
• Support on advertising and public relationship to promote product.
• Monitor product inventory and keep product mix in line with the market demand.
• Manage product-related support, feedback and inquiries from end customers.
• Collect end customer experience and feedback to support product improvement and development.
• Communicate and provide Production Company with product related information (performance, reliability, utilization etc.).
• Ensure proper product placement on the market in accordance with local legislations.

QUALIFICATION WE EXPECT:

• 5+ of experience in related functions.
• Engineering / Agriculture background.
• Decent knowledge in agricultural machinery, crop and forage production, stockbreeding and precision farming as well.
• Knowledge of marketing principles and practices.
• Fluent English is a must (additional languages will be a plus).
• Ability to travel domestically up to 40%.
• Advanced PC user skills.
