IT Specialist / Service Engineer

The international Radisson Hotel Group is looking for IT Sepcialist / Service Engineer to our three hotels in Kyiv.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION

Support and maintenance of all hotel systems (first line of support) of data transmission and communication systems in the hotel, including IP telephony, point of sale, Front Office, Back Office systems, data transfer connections and PC network, necessary software updates and installations.

Required skills:

• Experience in installing and configuring the Windows line of operating systems
• Solid knowledge of MS Office Pro, anti-virus systems, application software;
• Knowledge of PC hardware;
• Solid knowledge in the field of setup and maintenance of LAN, telephone and television (IPTV) networks, knowledge of OSI network model;
• Knowledge and understanding of relational DBMS (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, Sybase).
• Customer focus, quick adaptation, autonomy, responsibility, initiative, analytical skills, and result orientation;
• Knowledge of English Intermedia

Will be a plus:

• Experience with specialized software Oracle Micros, Opera PMS
• Experience with servers of HPE PROLIANT DL, PABX Alcatel-Lucent line
• Experience in the hotel business

• Work schedule: Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 18:00. Saturday and Sunday: off, but may require occasional work over weekends

Responsibilities:

• Support of Windows Server based servers (DC, AD, DNS, GPO);
• Support of clients based on Windows operating system;
• Support of computers and office equipment of the enterprise;
• Keeping account of computer equipment of the enterprise;
• Organization of anti-virus protection of PC (Level 1 Support);
• Installation, configuration and maintenance of LAN and telephony;
• Diagnostics of communication channels and data transmission;
• Maintenance of operability of cash register equipment (Level 1 Support);
• Organization of new workplaces;
• Setting up user access rights; 
• Consultation on purchasing new computer equipment.
