Position Summary
Our Company is currently hiring for a mid-level support desk tier-1 / tier-2 position at Kyiv, Ukraine office. Candidates will be required to go through a three phase application process. The selected individual will be provided with full training on all our products, no prior experience required. Interested candidates must be highly motivated and disciplined to work without micro-management. This position will report directly to support desk management based on east coast of the United States. Employee and manager will be in constant real-time online & verbal communication, however, the highest level of professional self-discipline is expected at all times in the Kiev office. Individuals who do not immediately demonstrate an ability to work successfully and effectively under remote management will be released in the best interest of our Software & employee.
  • Phase 1: Written resume with no less than three professional references who will accept phone calls to discuss the candidate’s past experience. Please note, written references will not be accepted as an alternative. Upon review of resume an introductory phone call screening will be conducted prior to candidates advancing to phase 2.
  • Phase 2: Oral interview to assess candidate’s professional composure, linguistic skill and expertise in expressing concepts related to the required skills & experience.
  • Phase 3: Lab style assessment of candidate’s technical skills in areas of required skills & experience. Computer and phone (or VOIP) to participate in the assessment will be provided at the Kiev office
Position Responsibilities
  • Deliver Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to customers for our products
  • Liaise with product management located in Aliso Viejo, CA office in escalation of customer technical issues and required resolutions.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Skills
    • Basic fundamental understanding of Microsoft SQL database engine configuration & design
    • Basic fundamental understanding of network design and IP private/public routing concepts
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills demonstrating appropriate professional demeanor
    • Advanced Familiarity with Microsoft Windows ecosystem including operating system, and relationship with installed applications
    • Strong English language proficiency. English does not need to be first language, however, all written and oral communication with staff and customers will be in English.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 1 year experience as desktop technician or helpdesk technician equivalent role
    • Minimum 1 year using endpoint management solutions which included functionalities for remote control, software distribution, OS patch management

  • Macintosh OSX technical support. Understanding of application troubleshooting differences compared to Microsoft Windows
