We are an American based company with more than 10 years of experience in Logistics and Transportation in the USA, looking for a Sea Freight and Rail Operations Specialist to join our Odesa office team.

Essential job functions

  • Be involved in assisting the sales team with best solutions of LCL, FCL, Rail LCL, and Rail FCL from China to Europe, mainly to Romania, from Europe, especially Romania to worldwide;
  • The SF&Rail Operations Specialist will also be involved in the analysis and monitoring of operational data to ensure performance is achieved and increased where needed;
  • Work closely with agents and sea freight lines to develop NAC (VIP) projects for the sales department so that top customers are secured;
  • The company may also require you to attending meetings or sit on committees established within the Maritime industry to represent the company.

Minimum requirements:


  • Required 1 year + experience with LCL, FCL, Rail LCL, and Rail FCL (our main course is from China to Europe);
  • Highly skilled with proven results on the market;
  • Have a commercial view in order to better understand how to develop the sea freight department, out of the box thinker;
  • Needs to be a good communicator who is capable of report writing in a clear and structured way. You must also have good negotiation skills;
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills are essential as you will be required to analyze operational data to help improve efficiencies and to also predict operational problems;
  • You must be familiar with current computer programs used within the industry;
  • Ability to learn quickly;
  • Knowledge of Romanian would be a big plus.
