Powershell Automation Developer

Our client, leading Pentalog European Software Services company with main office in France, Paris, opens a competition for a vacancy of Powershell Automation Developer.

We employ over 1,200 engineers and IT experts who work in a very dynamic, multicultural working environment. 

This position is primarily focused on developing windows server-specific Powershell automation tooling, RESTful APIs and a ReactJS-based web control panel. The candidate will be working with our Tech Lead to develop the underpinnings of our next-generation cloud hosting platform (based on Microsoft Hyper-V and Windows Server technologies). 

Region - all Ukraine.

Responsibilities: 

• Develop automation tooling for Windows Server 2019 and Microsoft Hyper-V technologies. 
• Develop RESTful APIs. 
• Develop a ReactJS-based web control panel; experience with React is not necessary but is a plus. 
• Write technical documentation for the systems you develop. 
• Perform Windows Server administration tasks. 

Requirements: 

• Education High School diploma or equivalent. 
• Degree in IT-related field and/or certifications are a bonus but not required.

Experience and Necessary Skills: 

• Most importantly, candidate must be able to write very high quality code. 
• Must have a solid command of the English language with strong written and verbal skills. Candidate will be required to write concise technical documentation for the scripts and functions they write. Docs and code should be free of spelling errors. 
• Must have a strong understanding of Powershell scripting in a Windows Server environment. 
• Must have a basic understanding of Windows Server administration: Active Directory, Hyper-V, iSCSI, IIS, SQL Server, Static IP addressing and NIC teaming. 
• Experience using git version control in an environment with multiple developers is a plus. 
• Experience scripting for Active Directory and Hyper-V is a plus. 
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web development is a plus. 
• Experience with Microsoft SQL server is a plus. 
• Detailed oriented and well organized. 
• Able to work independently and be a team player. 
• Able to communicate effectively and efficiently. 
• Must be able to interact positively with coworkers and customers. 
• Will have to pass a background check.
