Depot Operation Team Lead/ Deputy Head of Pharmaceutical Warehouse

Main Purpose:

The main role of the Depot Operation Team Lead is to provide guidance, instruction, direction, and leadership to the Depot Operations team for ensuring that CTD facility is well maintained and that the team coordinates with Project Management to achieve the results that is expected accordingly to Contracts and Work Instructions.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Receipt of drug and medical device supplies in accordance with procedures.
  2. Generation of shipping documentation upon receipt of project requests.
  3. Create inventory pick-lists within Depot Inventory Management System.
  4. Physical pick of supplies from within the depot.
  5. Inspection of supplies picked for shipment by other associates.
  6. Preparation of shipment export documentation.
  7. Processing of shipment acknowledgment receipts.
  8. Filing of study shipment documentation and archiving support.
  9. Post shipment notification to clients.
  10. Stock control including periodic cycle counts
  11. Generation of purchase orders and other administrative tasks.
  12. Focusing on the supervision of the Operations team to ensure responsibilities are executed in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice and in a timely manner to meet contractual obligations.
  13. Training of team members
  14. Manpower planning and set priority for workflow in the depot when necessary.
  15. Performing investigations regarding area non-conformances and implementation of appropriate actions to prevent recurrence.
  16. Implementation of area KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives
  17. Participate in selection of equipment and implementation of new systems.
  18. Schedule service repairs and maintenance for department related equipment.
  19. Ensure cost-effective management of supplies.
  20. Act as deputy of Depot Manager during his/her absence.

General

  1. To adhere to all company Policies at all times.
  2. To undertake any other reasonable duties at the request of the Line Manager or Branch Manager.

Qualifications

  • University Degree in Pharmacy
  • certificate of a pharmacist-specialist in the specialty 'Organization and management of pharmacy'
  • Experience & knowledge: minimum 3-5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical industry, quality system. Practical GDP experience.
  • Meet local regulations for nomination of Responsible Person;
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory guidelines;
  • Computer literacy (PC user, MS Office);
  • Upper-Intermediate/Intermediate English ( speaking, reading and writing);
