Senior JavaScript Engineer (Team Leader), Worldwide Product Services

Our client is one of the world’s leading producers of consumer goods. Their portfolio contains several hundred brands. Almost half of the people on the planet use their products.

Our specialists work with innovative solutions and use popular technologies for development. For this project, we are modernizing the client's digital platform.

Note that we hire specialists not to the project, but to one of DataArt’s companies. If the project is over, or you become uncomfortable in it, you can discuss a transition to another project.

Required Skills and Experience

• 4+ years of experience with web technologies
• Development experience using React.js
• Experience in leading a distributed team
• Experience with JavaScript (ES6 +), TypeScript, and SASS
• Experience with CSS frameworks (Twitter Bootstrap, Foundation, Material UI)
• Knowledge of code testing techniques (including BDD, TDD).
• Experience with Jest, Cypress.io
• Experience using the JAMStack approach
• Good spoken English

Additional Competencies

• Knowledge of and experience with SEO optimization (page load speed, organic SEO, etc.)
• Experience with other JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with e-commerce: Shopify or others
• Experience with CMS: Umbraco, Contentful, or others
• Experience with static site generators: Gatsby.js, Next.js
