Senior accountant

Horizon Capital is a leading private equity firm in Emerging Europe, backed by over 40 institutional investors. We have a tenure of over 27 years in the region and manage five funds with assets under management of over $1.1 billion. 

We are looking for a Senior accountant to provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company's finances.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Financial reporting preparation on quarter basis (US GAAP)
• Proper maintenance of all accounting records, including ensuring all expense accruals and prepayments have been properly calculated and recorded
• Analytical review of P&L and Balance sheet
• Ensure all internal deadlines are met
• Financial reporting preparation on an annual basis (US GAAP, IFRS) in coordination with external auditors
• Tax return preparation on an annual basis in coordination with external tax advisors
• Cash forecasting
• Budget preparation
• Management reporting preparation
• To undertake any other duties to the level of the role

THE MAIN REQUIREMENTS ARE:

• Qualified accountant with 4+ years of experience in Finance or Audit (BIG4 will be advantage)
• English: Upper-intermediate
• Attentive to details with good analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel
• Diligent and reliable team player with good problem-solving skills
