C++ Developer, Communication App

DataArt is expanding the team for a new project. The client is a US-based tech startup that is developing an application to simplify remote communications. This software helps to manage presentations during video calls and allows the users to integrate it with various services (Zoom, Google Meet, and YouTube).

We have already formed a team of 5 developers, a QA engineer, a designer, and a project manager. Now we are looking for a C++ engineer who will work on the rendering pipeline to increase velocity.

DataArt’s specialists are developing a Windows version of a proprietary application connected with video-conferencing. Many tasks related to the processing of media streams are planned. The project’s technology stack is .NET (C #), WPF, and C++.

Must have

• 4+ years of experience in developing commercial applications using C++
• Experience developing desktop applications
• Understanding the basics of OOP and knowledge of modern approaches to development (TDD, BDD, CI, SOLID, etc.)
• Knowledge of low-level threading primitives and real-time environments
• Familiarity with system call wrapper library functions
• Good spoken English

Would be a plus

• Knowledge of low-level Windows APIs especially APIs related to media
• Experience with WPF
