Middle Scala/Java Engineer

REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ year of work experience, including programming experience in any JVM language / PHP / C++ / Lua.
• 2-3 years of experience building secure scalable web services
• Experience with distributed systems
• Experience with RESTful services
• Good understanding of network stack and HTTP protocol
• Experience with concurrency, multithreading, or asynchronous programming
• Understanding of data modeling in SQL and/or NoSQL environment
• Good English. Be able to work in an English speaking environment with colleagues around the world

Would be a plus:

• Experience with (any combination of) AWS, Redis, Kafka and Cassandra would be a plus
• Technical education in computer science or in a related field 
• Experience in the telecommunication field
