Job profile

 

The Pricing Manager is responsible for calculation of prices, discussion with sales / general / finance directors, putting the correct prices, including charges, in the ERP system, as well as ensuring that the correct prices are being sent timely to our customers via sales managers. The Pricing Manager will coordinate the periodical costing and pricing process in close coordination with the Purchase department, Formulation, Customer Care, Commercial departments and Business controlling. The pricing process leads to optimization of the profit of Trouw Nutrition Ukraine in line with the long-term strategy of the company. The Pricing Manager reports to the Finance Director. Activities are performed for our production facility in Vinnytsia region.

Tasks

The main tasks of the Pricing Manager are:

Process and communication:

  • Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the raw material price lists in the ERP environment and for putting the sales prices correctly and timely in the system.
  • Calculating and sending every month the prices for third customers following the standard calculation, responsible for adding charges and additions in the system.
  • Ensuring timely price setting for new or changed items on a daily basis. Safeguarding the raw material prices and currency risks for sales contracts with a solid sales price and volume.
  • Coordinating the communication between Customer Care and sales when a customer has reached the maximum contract volume.
  • Communicating of actual market information/developments to the commercial organization and customers through market reports.
  • Ensuring order monitoring in order to safeguard the balance between purchased and sold positions.

Pricing and strategy:

  • Optimizing the sales prices (in cooperation with the management), advising the colleagues involved about market developments and our reaction /strategy to these developments
  • Developing, optimizing and maintaining the pricing models of the product groups (margin matrix)
  • In collaboration with the Purchase Department following up on the raw material market developments
  • Calculating of pricing scenarios taking into account recipes, production costs and supply chain costs
  • Preparing offers in close cooperation with sales and relevant departments, position and risk management, organizing and analyzing of benchmarks (market intelligence database)
  • Key account support and the safeguarding of budgeted (consolidated) sales profit

 

Your profile

  • Bachelor in Economics;
  • Combines a general understanding of the business with knowledge of purchase and sales markets;
  • Preference for a person with Agricultural affinity
  • Excellent knowledge of Ukrainian and English, both spoken and written
