Localization Engineer

Pangea Translation Services is on hunt for the Localization Engineer.

Ideal position for the candidatures with strong technical skills and deep understanding of translation project management process.

Main responsibilities:

• Managing multiple translation and localization projects in a fast-paced environment;
• Creation, monitoring, and updating project-related quotes
• Project resource management
• Management of allocated teams in terms of project-related matters
• File handling - receive, distribute and deliver files (between internal and external resources and clients)
• Monitoring and controlling projects status
• Delivering projects within agreed budget and timelines
• Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with external translators, revisers, and reviewers
• Compliance with relevant and applicable procedures

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree (localization, technical or IT)

Experience in translation and localization project management is a must

Very good verbal and written English communication skills is a must

Tech-savvy with excellent knowledge of MS Office tools

Knowledge of CAT tools (MemoQ, Trados, SDL, WordBee, WordFast, XTM)
