Due to the business expansion, MEDICOVER - the biggest network of private medical centers and laboratories in Eastern Europe - is looking for:

Summary:

The Biosample Operations Project Manager is responsible for the daily, hands-on management of biospecimen accountability, chain of custody and quality.

Responsibilities:

Essential functions include, but are not limited, to the following:

• Accountable for planning, organizing and overseeing the collection and shipping of samples from laboratory and their subsequent delivery to clients to ensure timely delivery
• Maintain oversight of all study sample operational activities and regularly report on status, including sample collection and reconciling against consent
• Provide regular reports and summaries of biospecimen tracking activity
• Manage relationships with laboratory vendors, including forecasting and tracking of study costs associated with sample management
• Follow up and resolve discrepancies through communication with client's study team, collection sites or vendors within specified timeframes
• Review client's protocol to ensure feasibility of sampling and alignment with own SOPs
• Facilitate sample shipments and query resolution among vendors to ensure timely data delivery
• Support sample analysis data transfer, data reconciliation, and data review
• Maintain professional knowledge of current GCP, biobanking, and sample management best practices and ethical guidelines and apply knowledge appropriately
• Participate in ad-hoc projects, including providing assistance and input in the development of new IT infrastructure

Required Skills:

• Fluent Ukrainian, Russian and English, both written and spoken
• Profound knowledge of MS Excel
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and working procedures (WPs)
• Effective team player and ability to collaborate with cross functional clinical study teams
• Ability to manage vendors and oversee sample management activities across multiple projects
• Demonstrated ability to work independently to manage complex projects with multiple priorities in a fast paced, team-based environment
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills necessary to interface with vendors and team members
• Proven critical reasoning skills including the identification and resolution of complex problems
