A big Development Team is now developing several live products that already successfully run in production. All products relate to the Construction domain, with a huge impact on the overall industry in the Nordics.

Our major goal is to develop those products further, scale the overall system towards growing the number of their users as well as extend the backend for handling the increasing load. We are constantly looking for an opportunity of getting smart guys to our team.

CUSTOMER

Our client is a company developing solutions and products in Europe. All products being created by our team cover a huge part of the market in the Nordic countries with the focus on Sweden.

PROJECT

In order to support all our products and the team, we need a guy who will help in handling quite heavy test environments structure, production maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and monitoring as well as internal infrastructure support.

Challenges we face here:

• Setup, maintain and evolve internal infrastructure having both Azure and internally hosted machines
• Get builds' and deployments' automation process further
• Take care of a bunch on internal applications, such as Jira, Confluence, BitBacket, TFS, Git, etc.

Overall account size is 27 persons having quite a high seniority level. The default setup of a development unit is: Team Lead, 3-4 Developers, 1-2 Test Engineers being supported by a supervising Architect, Project and Operations Managers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• System administration and support, including new system deployment and account administration
• Daily system monitoring, verifying integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs
• Effective configuration, setup, and maintenance of version control systems, build tools, and continuous integration tools
• Troubleshooting in complex technical environments
• Writing and deploying automation scripts to maintain the application

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 4 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server operating systems
• Experience with Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
• At least 4 years of system, network, and/or application administration
• Advanced understanding of DNS, DHCP, SSH, HTTP, HTTPS, TCP/IP, and other common network protocols
• Experience with monitoring technologies and scripting (Zabbix, Nagios, Graphite, Kibana, grafana)
• Experience administering MS SQL
• Experience with implementing recovery solutions for on-premise and cloud environments
• Proficiency in more than one high-level scripting language (PowerShell, Python, etc.)
• Experience administering Microsoft Active Directory, including certificate services, group policy, AD DNS, Windows Clustering, and Azure Active Directory
• Experience with Azure
• Experience with Docker
