Tax Consultant - Transfer Pricing group

Deloitte is seeking an Experienced Consultant to join the Transfer Pricing practice group within the Tax and Legal department at the Kyiv office.

Deloitte's Transfer Pricing group, part of the firm's Tax function, combines the global expertise of tax professionals to help multinational enterprises address their transfer pricing issues in the various jurisdictions in which they operate.

Transfer pricing refers to pricing arrangements for the sale of goods, provision of services and other transactions between affiliates of a multinational enterprise with operations in more than one tax jurisdiction. These intercompany transactions are becoming increasingly frequent as multinational enterprises continue to globalize their operations.

The role will involve:

• Work as a part of an experienced team on complex transfer pricing projects for major Ukrainian and multinational companies (including, in particular, preparation of benchmarking studies and transfer pricing documentation)
• Lead middle-size projects and coordinate work of junior staff
• Prepare documentation and reports to be delivered to clients, with the guidance of senior colleagues
• Assist in preparation of proposal documents
• Participation in meetings with current and potential clients
• Cooperation with other service lines/departments with respect to transfer pricing assistance during their engagements as well as with professionals within the international Deloitte transfer pricing network

Requirements:

• Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance
• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in transfer pricing
• English - Upper-Intermediate and above
• Proficiency in using office applications: MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Outlook
• Solid knowledge of Ukrainian tax legislation (would be considered as an advantage)
• High degree of self-motivation and strong career aspirations
• Strong commitment to providing an excellent client service
• Ability to work in a team and manage multiple engagements
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
