Chief Accountant (IFRS)

Our client, an international company (B2B sales & services), is looking for an experienced Chief Accountant for its Ukrainian Office to manage the accounting function.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing the financial and tax and accounting in accordance with both Ukrainian standards and IFRS
• Management accounting for a group of Ukrainian and non-resident companies (IFRS)
• Control over reporting preparations and submission,
• Coordinating reporting procedures and proper closing of periods
• Cooperation with controlling authorities
• Planning and managing cash flows
  
• Controlling all banking operations
• Managing a team of accountants in Ukraine and other jurisdictions.

Requirements:

• University degree in Audit/Accounting/Finance
• 5+ years of previous experience as a Chief Accountant (production, logistics, FMCG, B2B, construction, IT)
• Strong managerial experience
• IRFS experience is mandatory for this position
• MS Office, Excel and 1С 8.2 (8.3) (please note that no SAP or Oracle is required for this position)
• Strong communicator with excellent organizational skills
• Fluency in English, in addition to Ukrainian and Russian, is a mandatory requirement
