Power BI Engineer

Our client is a leading full-service global Contract Research Organization (CRO). After several years of successful partnership and development of a custom budgeting system, we are ready to extend our cooperation even further. Right now we are starting several new greenfield projects which will be combined into a large program.

Responsibilities

• Developing dashboards, scorecards, and other types of informative visuals and reports using Power BI
• Building Analysis Services reporting models using various data sources. Importing and transforming data if needed
• Collaborate with business, technology, and support teams to ensure system solutions meet business requirements
• Assist business users with functional and data requirements to enhance data models

Must have

• 3+ years of development experience using Power BI
• Able to implement row-level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI
• Expertise in using advanced level calculations on the data set
• Understand data architectures, data warehousing principles, ability to participate in the design and development of conventional data warehouse solutions
• Experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack: SSAS, SSRS and SSIS
• Able to develop multidimensional models that are compatible with Data warehouse standards
• Ability to interpret data and provide recommendations to customers
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Able to work independently
• Fluent English and good communication skills

Would be a plus

• Experienced in developing custom visuals for Power BI
