Junior/Middle IT Engineer

Infopulse welcomes talented professionals to join our team as a Junior/Middle IT Engineer for one of our Norwegian customers in Zhytomyr office.

Areas of Responsibility

• Creating installation packages (Windows Installer) and virtualized applications (App-V, ThinApp)
• Automation scripting (PowerShell, CMD)
• Remote end user support (email, IM)
• Windows administration and configuration
• Troubleshooting and 3-rd line support of applications
• Troubleshooting basic networking and licensing issues (port and firewall openings)
• Configuring Users and Groups in Active Directory
• Basic VM management (VMWare vSphere, VMWare Horizon)
• ITSM tickets handling and dispatching

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of registry and file system in Windows 10 OS (user profiles, permissions)
• Experience in PowerShell and Windows shellscripting
• Basic understanding of active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) principles and fundamentals of AD DS management
• Basic understanding of Windows Server roles and services
• Basic understanding of networking fundamentals, including common networking protocols, topologies, hardware, media, routing, switching, and addressing.
• Basic experience of managing task in a ticketing system like ServiceNow or JIRA
• Intermediate level of English (both spoken and written)
• Ability to create technical documentation
• Ability being independent
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience

Will be an advantage

• Knowledge of Office 365, MS SQL, Citrix, App-V and Windows Installer
• Experience in OS virtualization using VMWare vSphere, experience in VMWare Horizon
• Experience in troubleshooting licensing issues
• Microsoft certification in Windows7/Windows10 preferred, ITIL general knowledge
• Experience in creating installation packages
• 3-years or more of related experience preferred.
