Charity Fund Vice-Director, Fundraising Manager

WE ARE

We are looking for a Vice-Director/Fundraising manager for SoftServe corporate Charity Fund 'Open Eyes' who will be responsible for raising money for charitable projects of the Fund. The manager will meet donations targets by approaching IT-community (companies, employees, IT-clusters), companies from different business areas, local and state authorities and beneficiaries as well. Fundraising manager along with Fund team will be responsible for organising events (covering a particular geographical area of SoftServe Development Centers) and other promotional activities aimed to raise donations, public awareness and to appreciate donors.

YOU ARE

• Sharing the main values and commitments of the Fund 'Open Eyes' and SoftServe
• Possessing excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good at copywriting
• Having research and analytical skills, ability to target the audience and act correspondingly
• Oriented towards building long-term relationships with stakeholders
• Able to manage budgets and hit fundraising targets
• Proficient in PC (MS Office) and a confident social networks' user
• The one with at least 3 years of commercial experience, preferably in fundraising, marketing, PR, or any other creative industries 
• A professional whose English level is at least Intermediate and higher
• Ready to work overtime and over the weekends (if needed)
• Able to work individually as well as the part of the team

YOU WANT TO WORK WITH

• Researching cooperation opportunities with global companies' funds or CSR organizations
• Performing the role of the Fund's Director on a need basis as well as helping with many other duties
• Monitoring and implementing latest tendencies in fundraising and charity life
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with major donors and companies
• Managing information and recording the profile and fundraising activity of donors in a database
• Managing the Fund's budget and ensuring that targets are met
• Organising fundraising campaigns and events
• Spotting fundraising opportunities and raising awareness of the organisation's work
• Taking active part in Fund's communication strategy preparation
• Engaging public personalities from wide variety of life-spheres (sports, arts, music, business etc.) to charitable events
• Communicating with SoftServe internal departments (Design Office, HR and Global Marketing teams as well as Engagement and Sales departments concerning involvement SoftServe's clients in charitable projects and initiatives)
• Participating in Fund's yearly social report preparation

TOGETHER WE WILL

Be responsible for organising fundraising campaigns as well as taking care of different social projects along with organising the work of Charity Fund 'Open Eyes' on operational level. We will be able to approach companies, organizations and public personalities in order to build long-term relationships as well as bring awareness of charity activities among employees and in society in general. We will prepare charity fairs, meet a lot of interesting people and have fun while engaging people to make their contributions and participate in charity life in many different ways.
