Head of Business Intelligence & Analysis (heavy industry)

For our client, an international industrial company, we are looking for Head of Business Intelligence to manage a team which provides data services, analytics, reporting and data science solutions to the company's business globally.

Key Functions:

• Engage directly with key business stakeholders to build strong relationships and understand the business strategies and solution needs
• Interpret large data sets, preparing recommendations, and presenting to senior members of the team to influence the strategic direction of the company
• Manage the business analytics function, including tracking of global trends and prices
• Making executive presentations and reports
• Develop solution roadmaps, handle budgets, plan and deliver projects
• Grow the Business Intelligence team by hiring and on-boarding talented, motivated, and thoughtful analysts
• Work directly with Sales, Operations, Production, and Business Development to ensure that they have access to accurate information and enable data-informed decision making
• Responsible for providing strategic business support and business analytics & insight to the company executives to ensure appropriate financial, business and resource planning.
• Responsible for providing business insights that provide a view of the portfolio of business
• Manage Business Insights & Analytics.
• Marketing planning processes and cadence, goal setting, performance measurement/reporting, and driving operational effectiveness.
• Partner with finance on allocation and alignment of marketing resources, goals and financial investments
• Provide advice and consultation leveraging marketing performance data
• Lead global projects in support of marketing goals including transformational activities and strategic imperatives

Key Qualifications:

• University degree in finance, business, mathematics, cybernetics or other related field
• Proven successful experience with business intelligence and analysis, mapping, methodology development, data modeling, research and reporting
• Prior or current experience with large industrial companies, or global B2B players in heavy industry
• Sales experience is not required, but will be an assets
• Strategy consulting or investment analysis experience will be an asset
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills in Ukrainian, Russian and English
• Driven to learn business processes, analyze and understand data
• Proactively initiates, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with team members
• Possess a very high degree of professional maturity
• Persuasive communicator
