Java Developer

 6-Systems is developing and operating innovative mission-critical IT solutions for the Sixt Group 

In this role you will be developing enterprise applications to support expansion of our Leasing business. Working within an agile environment with a range frontend and backend systems you will be expected to contribute to software architecture and development planning, be a part of the full stack team which is building core/new features, making integration tests, fixing bugs and contributing to knowledge base.

Essential requirements: 

• Java 8+
  
• strong knowledge of OOP principles
• experience in design of near real-time distributed systems or work on microservices architectures
• good understanding of event-driven platforms, pub-sub and messaging
• container-based virtualization technologies
• good experience in unit and integration testing, performance profiling
• experience with relational databases

Nice to have's:

• Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Netflix stack
• Docker | Kubernetes
• Gradle
• BPMN - Camunda
• NoSQL DB
• commercial experience with AWS or GCE
• extensive experience in Linux
• work experience in Agile environment: SCRUM, KanBan
