IT Business Analyst III LIMS

The IT Business Analyst III LIMS position is responsible for developing, testing, debugging, maintaining and documenting components of a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Defines user requirements, procedures, and processes to optimize performance efficiency and meet business objectives. 

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline;
• 7+ years of LabWare LIMS administration and development in a Pharmaceutical Environment;
• Very strong documentation skills, analytical skills, project management, resource management, schedule and budget management, excellent verbal / written communication skills;
• Specialized or Technical Knowledge in LabWare LIMS v5, v6, v7 (administration, advanced LIMS Basic, instrument interfacing, Batch Manager, Empower Interface, Stability Manager v6 and v7), Crystal Reports, Oracle Database, Toad, SQL, PL/SQL, Software Development Lifecycle knowledge, 21 CFR Part 11, cGMPs, USP, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project);
• Able to highlight issues/problems and convey complex thoughts, written and oral, in a clear, concise, and timely manner. Ability to present complex ideas and information in group settings;
• Able to use general office and telecommunications equipment.

Responsibilities:

1. Helps formulate and define, scope and objectives based on user needs, research and industry requirements; considers the business application of technology. Practical hands-on experience supporting, enhancing, upgrading, deploying, consolidating to LabWare LIMS environment. 
   
2. Responsible for new or modification of the existing configuration of LIMS to resolve complex issues or meet new/changing business needs of a complex nature. This includes creation, revision, technical review of project & validation documentation (VP / IP, URS, FDS, SMDS, IQ/OQ/PQ test scripts, VSR / ISR).
   
3. Leads and represents the department on the project and cross-functional teams/committees. Train Subject Matter Experts on new or modified LIMS configuration.
   
4. Provides technical support to business groups through the use of troubleshooting procedures and testing. Coaches/mentors other team members.
5. Follows Teva Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.
6. Other projects and duties as required/assigned.
