Business Analyst (agro industry)

We are looking for a Business Analyst on behalf of our client, a large international agro industry company, with location in Kiev.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sourcing, managing, analyzing and summarizing deal information from third party news feeds and public company transaction documents
• Monitoring legal and regulatory developments and conducting market research to ensure that transaction summaries remain current and relevant
• In-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis of deal and market information to assess the development of trends and to contribute towards annual trend reports for key transaction types
• Writing current awareness pieces, summaries of legal market news and mini trend reports in response to market developments for the weekly bulletin
• Researching law firm thought leadership and contacting practitioners for comment where appropriate
• Highlighting interesting clauses and information to the Corporate PSLs and working with them to create model precedents, in-depth analysis and comment
• Working with other Analysts to explore technological ways in which to access, summarize and analyze public information and data and to design creative and innovative ways in which to present data and trend analysis
• Analyzing financial statement as well as other financial and market data.
• Making reports.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in finance, economy or accounting
• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, business analytics, risks or other related area with either an international and/or local company
• Confidence in dealing with queries - both from within the team and other areas of the business
• Good command of business data analysis and financial statement analysis
• Ability to identify trends and review data
• Comprehensive knowledge & practical experience of business analysis techniques and analysis documentation
• Demonstrable experience of delivery in an agile environment
• MS Excel experience
• Excellent command of written English, in addition to native Ukrainian and Russian
