Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Reporting, Budgeting, Forecasting, Business Financial Analysis and Planning, and needed Variance Analysis for the selected markets
• Provide financial support to launches of new products, evaluate profitability of new products, seak ways and methods of product profitability improvement
• Work with finance team to prepare periodic summaries of management reports including P&L, B/S, WC, stock report, etc.
• Close cooperation with accounting department to ensure transparent bookkeeping and compliant reporting
• Provide relevant data to support the decision-making processes in the company & initiate proposals for improvement
• Work with other functions in providing sound financial analysis to support setting target and developing business strategies to improve operating effectiveness and efficiency
• Guiding senior management through all phases of the budget cycle to achieve efficient product launches, project implementation, reviewing of budget estimates and proposals; advising on and monitoring the budgetary implementation; periodic controlling and reporting on budget implementation and proposing related actions to the management
• Maintain effective communication with local and regional/central functions, both within and outside the finance area
• To be ready to optimize existing reports, controlling instruments, group reporting and consolidation system
• Ad-hoc tasks such as business case evaluation, sensitivity analysis, reports, etc.  for all levels of management

Key Requirements

• Formal or experience-proven qualification in Finance
• 2+ years of experience in a position with the similar duties in finance or business analysis (preferably with FMCG companies)
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, proficiency in Excel being an absolute must
• Fluent English; native Ukrainian & Russian
• Highly numerate person with excellent analytical skills and entrepreneur / commercial thinking
• Ability to communicate / present complex data, identify risks and opportunities and explain complex issues simply
• Cooperative, team player who must be able to work cross functionally with Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing and Supply Chain; must be comfortable dealing with managers at all levels throughout the organisation
• Proactive self-starter, with the ability to work with minimum guidance and willing to challenge and jump into the issues
