Senior Documentation Engineer, OL

Project Overview:

This is your great opportunity to join a fast-growing and highly motivated team that develops a multi-component Big Data Analytics platform for geolocation data processing. The goal of this project is to produce high-quality documentation deliverables for the platform that spans developer guides, user guides, API reference, release notes, video tutorials, and the like.

You'll be part of the dedicated Technical Writing Office that is closely integrated with multiple software development teams. You'll take ownership of the documentation for several platform components, putting every effort of yours into describing new functionalities and reducing accumulated documentation debt. Technical accuracy, documentation usability, language excellence, and adherence to our customer's writing style will be the core constituents of your daily duties.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver quality documentation that includes API reference, developer guides, release notes, user guides, and video tutorials;
• Estimate and review documentation deliverables;
• Work closely with SMEs to ensure the content's top accuracy and quality;
• Design graphics and diagrams to simplify complicated concepts;
• Develop video tutorials to speed up the software learning curve;
• Deliver clear localization-friendly UI text.

Requirements:

• C1 level of English;
• At least 3 years of experience in technical documentation development proven with your writing portfolio;
• Hands-on experience in the industry-standard authoring tools (Markdown, DITA, Confluence, MS Office Suite) and diagramming and screen-capturing tools to deliver quality web help content;
• Strong drafting, copy editing, and proofreading expertise;
• Solid knowledge of key technical publication style manuals;
• Deep understanding of APIs, SDKs, and application design principles;
• Good understanding of SDLC and DDLC;
• Perfect interviewing, time management, and multi-tasking skills;
• Analytical thinking and content architecture skills;
• Fast learner capable of acquiring new expertise.
