DevOps Engineer

6-SYSTEMS is developing and operating innovative IT solutions for the Sixt Group and BMW Group.

Our DevOps Engineers are responsible for an architecture, design and implementation of cloud-based application platforms and tooling to support Car Sharing and Car Leasing business directions. Working within an agile environment in teams including DEV team, DevOps team.

Essential requirements:

•  configuration management provisioning Puppet (version 5), Hiera experience
•  5+ experience in the system administration of Linux servers
•  continuous Delivery experience Jenkins, Pipeline, etc.
•  networking skills to manage firewalls, external network connections, TCP/IP security, DNS, etc.
•  experience in large scale monitoring and alerting tools such as ELK
•  experience inwith building and orchestration containers Docker, Kubernetes
•  experience in caching solutions: Memcached, Redis
•  Webservers experience(Nginx)
•  at least one of Python, Ruby, Perl
•  upper intermediate level of English

Nice to have:

•  
•  DBs: Aurora, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Oracle
•  grafana, filebeat, check_mk
•  good communication skills (oral and written)
•  Experience in proxying/reverse proxying services: HAProxy
•  Knowledge of DSOMM
•  message brokers: RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc
•  microservices: Consul/Eureka, Netflix OSS etc.
