Web UI Engineer with Shopify

About Project:

We are extending Shopify expertise within Platforms Center of Excellence (CoE). CoE is Team of people with a focus on a specific platform or technology with the ultimate goal of concentrating and growing "best in breed" experts. Our Team members are participating in various projects and initiatives around the Company, stepping into the most complicated challenges from our Customers. In order to grow and retain skilled people, we are offering various types of activities, based on skills and individual's desired growth vector - from Customer facing pre-sales activities to deep-technical assessments and implementation projects or developing cutting-edge Solution Accelerators which extend existing technology's boundaries. Our team provides the following major services to both internal and external clients: technical support during the sales process, proposals creation, architecture design, estimation, technology assessments, and comparisons, prototyping (technical, functional, and non-functional), discovery phases execution, projects implementation, troubleshooting, and crisis management activities.  

Responsibilities:

• Developing high-performing Shopify & Shopify Plus stores from scratch
• Modification and updating existing Shopify sites
• Using HTML, Liquid, SASS, Javascript and other languages
• Working closely with project stakeholders, designers, and other frontend and backend developers

Requirements:

• Established Shopify development experience, including building custom themes and features from scratch as well as modifications to existing elements
• Ability to convert Sketch files into fully responsive front-end websites
• Applied knowledge of Liquid, HTML5, CSS, and Javascript
• Experience with GIT
• Good communication skills  

As a Plus:

• English level: Intermediate+
• Experience in agile development and best practices
• SASS/SCSS
• jQuery, Grunt, JSON, Gulp
