Job Purpose:

We are looking for a Junior/Intermediate Technical Communicator, who will be responsible for designing, creating, maintaining, and updating main types of user assistance: help system, video, user guides, release notes, and other documents.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform projects investigation: identify project requirements identify the needs of the audience or users who will be using the materials; produce corresponding documentation
• Arrange the material in such a way as to promote ease of use and fast access to required information
• Conform to the product requirements (documentation format)
• Prepare drafts and write documentation but need assistance and editing from senior TC
• Interview product experts: prepare appropriate material for the interview, conduct, and can use the information received for the documentation development
• Attend and participate in project meetings
• Communicate with a client

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master degree in Applied Linguistics, Linguistics, Translation, Interpretation, or similar
• Finance background
• Fluent English
• Ability to write using simple "global" English for IT audience
• Knowledge of writing processes, DDLC, project lifecycle, and roles
• Knowledge of Agile, RUP, and Waterfall main rules and principles
• Knowledge of Microsoft, Apple, Chicago, and other style manuals
• Experience in Adobe Technical Communication Suite tools (basic functionality)
• Experience in MadPak Professional Suite tools
• Solid experience in MS Office tools
• Experience in Snagit (Photoshop) and other graphics editing tools (basic functionality)
• Experience in HTML or XML (basic knowledge)
• Knowledge of source control tools
• Basic knowledge of programming languages
