Job Description

Development of the whole gaming platform for Asian and European markets from scratch. Current platform is oriented only on European market (400+ games and millions of users, 4k servers and 200k+ simultaneous online sessions), but it's 80% of the functionality is not relevant for Asian market. The goal of the project is to leave just 20% of the functionality of the analogical existing product for European market and make simple, ultra-scalable service, applicable for Asian market size and new markets in Western Europe and Americas.

Responsibilities

• Automate the setup and configuration of monitoring systems
• Configuration of monitoring checks and alerts
• Performance monitoring dashboards creation and maintenance
• Automate checks for web application monitoring
• Evaluation and onboarding of Application Performance Monitoring instruments
• Setup distributed transactions tracing solution
• Improve service debug capabilities, Automating operational tasks, identifying improvements, highlighting risks vs benefits, and translating them into technical requirements

Qualifications

Required skills

• 3+ years' of experience in DevOps or Linux administration
• Programming skills in Python/Ruby/Bash
• Experience with setup, configuration and tuning monitoring systems: Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios/Sensu, APM solutions: NewRelic/Dynatrace/AppDynamics
• Experience with setup and configuration of logging solutions: Elastic Stack, Splunk
• Intermediate English at least

• Akka cluster management and monitoring

• Terraform
