Middle DevOps Engineer

About the project:

The project focuses on trading instruments and our aim is to deliver services to facilitate both day-to-day operations and special needs of consumers, developed in accordance with the highest quality standards of the online industry.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of relevant experience in DevOps role
• Solid hands-on experience with GCP or AWS or other Cloud providers
• Strong knowledge of LAMP, LEMP and similar setups
• Understanding/experience with Linux and Linux like systems: CentOS, RedHat, Ubuntu, etc.
• Hands-on experience with version control (specifically git dev>prod flow)
• Experience in scripting language (Python, bash...)
• Understanding of production level network architecture and monitoring
• Experience with setting up SSL, IPTABLE, smtp servers and ssh tunnels
• Understanding in CI/CD (CircleCI, Travis, Bamboo, Jenkins)
• Experience with setting up monitoring services like Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus etc
• Intermediate English
• Excellent communication, prioritization and analytical skills
• Team player

Responsibilities:

• Manage production, QA and staging environments
• Deployment of services necessary for a particular project or product development
• Continuous integration setup and manage (running and maintaining the build-machine, maintaining the build-scripts, help with unit-testing and automation testing)
• Performance monitoring
• Resolving software versioning conflicts
• Design and setup orchestration tools
• Infrastructure optimization
• Post-production maintenance (database support, logs cleaning, maintain SSL etc.)
• Ensure systems availability and scalability
• Manage security issues
• Support developers team
• Documentation process
