Senior Automation Engineer for a Marketplace project #6428

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Our client is one of the world largest marketplaces, dealing with one billion events per day. Currently, we are building a team which will work onsite at customer office in San Francisco. As part of this team, we're looking for a Senior Automation Engineer who will be able to participate in the whole life cycle of the new Data Access Policy quality assurance.

* need to be able to travel for at least 3 months to the USA/Berlin or willing to relocate to the USA

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform test cases design, automation and review
• Research and evaluate technical options to implement the project
• requirements
• Collaborate with other engineers both on Lohika and customer side
• Report to TL about current tasks status, technical and other risks

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 4+ years of commercial automating experience (Python)
• QA experience/knowledge
• Experience with API Automation/Data processing solutions testing
• Data Security Principles · Well-developed communication and team-working skills · Upper-intermediate level of English

WOULD BE A PLUS

• Experience working with Hive, HBase
• HDFS, ORC, Parquet
• EMR, S3
