Middle QA Automation Engineer, Assets Analysis App

The client has been creating tools that simplify working with bonds and other fixed-income assets for over 15 years. The software developed by the company helps to analyze securities based on the following parameters: yield, the circulation period, liquidity, and reliability. Acquired data is compared with the expectations of investors, allowing them to discover which investment fits best.

The client's products are used by companies of various sizes, from private investment advisors to the largest exchange market players. However, the possibilities open to our client are limited by the capabilities of the existing software. DataArt is now developing an entirely new system, from the data warehouses and backend components to the frontend interface. A part of business processes must be modernized according to the requirements of the market. Also among our goals is to help the client expand the system's functionality.

Required Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of automated testing experience
• Excellent knowledge of Selenium WebDriver (Maven, TestNG, POM)
• Knowledge of Java (Collections, Stream API), .NET and/or C# would be a plus
• Experience in creating a test framework from scratch
• Experience with Continuous integration: TeamCity with Allure, Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS)
• Ability to work with version control systems: Git, BitBucket.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL
• Experience with MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Transact-SQL (at least one of them)
• Experience and relevant knowledge of API testing (preferably Swagger)
• Knowledge of test types and ways of their organization in the process of testing various kinds of applications
• Experience in creating and maintaining test documentation (test plans, test cases)
• Experience with JIRA and creating bug reports
• Sociability
• Ability to learn and master new technologies
• Problem-oriented
• Good level of English (spoken and written)

Additional Competences

• Experience in performance testing (JMeter)
• Understanding data import methods, ETL knowledge
• Experience with Microsoft Azure/Application Insights
• Experience with SaaS and single-page web applications
