Senior Accountant (contract for 1 year, English level - Advanced)

Bayer Ukraine, a leading multinational company, is opening a position of

Senior Accountant 

Major tasks and responsibilities

·  Responsible for the complete, timely execution of the Accounting Operations in good quality in the area of General Accounting (including Asset Management) according to the defined processes and activity split.

·  Perform manual General Ledger postings, maintain accounts master data, perform monitoring and clearing of Accounts.

·  Responsible to perform accounting evaluations (plausibility checks) and postings.

·  Support the overall closing process together with the service centers organization, review the closing results and follow up with business.

·  Perform actual reporting under the corporate standards and under the legal entity standards including implementation of new regulation and law.

·  Support external & internal audit. Perform ICS controls in his/her own area of expertise and responsibility.

·  Support Investment Process (Accounting view) and perform Investment Tracking.

·  Insure the asset Accounting Master Data.

·  Pursue local legislation concerning new legal requirements in terms of depreciation, parameters for local financial and/or tax purposes 

·  Responsible for assets transfer, disposal, change & sale and physical inventory.

Qualifications:

·  Education requirements: professional education in financial accounting.

·  Several years working experience in finance and/or accounting department.

·  Solid knowledge of local tax and accounting laws.

·  Advanced ERP/BI knowledge.

·  Familiar with MS office and related software.

·  English language: Advanced.

·  Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
